High frequency algorithmic trading application service provider is seeking a Linux Administrator to help maintain and extend their production data center operations. Duties will include working with a team to design, implement and maintain solutions for scaling the required technology infrastructure as well as creating and maintaining knowledge base, support scripts, documentation and administration procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

-5+ years experience in Linux System administration in trading environments
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Strong experience in TCP/IP Network Administration
-Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS configurations
-Experience deploying HP, IBM, or Dell blade infrastructure with SAN storage.
-Experience in NetApp storage management
-Experience centralizing system software and configuration management
-Experience establishing connectivity to market data sources
-Shell/perl scripting skills
-Experience deploying VMWare or Xen
-Experience with data replication products
-Experience deploying clustering services
